What will you be doing?

We are seeking a CIO, who will play a key role in shaping and implementing the company's IT strategy, ensuring robust technical infrastructure and processes. The primary focus is on internal systems, infrastructure, security, and process standardization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IT strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives (from requirements gathering to system/service deployment).

  • Assess new or changing requirements (conduct negotiations, manage project priorities, lead infrastructure engineering and IT Helpdesk teams).

  • Build and optimize scalable and secure internal IT infrastructure that supports business goals.

  • Manage contracts with third-party IT solution providers, including vendor evaluation, negotiation, and solution selection.

  • Oversee the IT budget and plan investments in technical services and personnel.

  • Develop and support key internal systems: Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, Power BI, casino back offices, network infrastructure, and other internal services/systems.

  • Create and maintain an IT service catalog aligned with business objectives.

  • Ensure standardization of internal IT services and processes, adherence to SLAs, and minimize downtime or service request delays.

  • Oversee and organize access management, account administration, security, deployment of new services, and system changes.

  • Manage a team of IT professionals: architects, administrators, IT support, and project roles.

  • Initiate and lead projects to optimize current systems/processes, automate tasks, and implement new solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with security policies (including IAM, data protection, and audits in relevant systems).

  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and top management.

  • Build monitoring systems, metrics, and reporting across all IT areas.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as Head of IT / IT Director / CIO / CISO.

  • Experience in a company with 1000+ employees — mandatory.

  • Proven experience implementing and scaling internal IT systems such as service catalogs, servicedesk, CRM, monitoring systems — mandatory.

  • Experience in organizing internal company processes.

  • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, SaaS, Active Directory, SSO, MS365, WGS) — mandatory.

  • Experience managing an IT team of 15+ people and building structured interaction processes — mandatory.

  • Knowledge of IT security principles, IAM, DevSecOps — mandatory.

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace.

  • Strong communication skills for translating business needs into technical solutions — mandatory.

  • Ability to write clear technical specifications for IT teams — mandatory.

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Scrum / Kanban / ITIL) — mandatory.

  • Project and team management experience — mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of modern technologies at the architecture level (networks, virtualization, directory services, Exchange, SharePoint Online, SSO, SAML, etc.).

  • Knowledge of information security and risk management principles.

  • Familiarity with standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO27001.

  • Experience as a Project Manager or Product Owner.
