DevOps Engineer

We are actively expanding and inviting a DevOps Engineer to join our team, who will ensure the effective functioning and maintenance of the company’s infrastructure, focusing on server security, availability, and performance. The DevOps Engineer will also be responsible for optimizing processes, supporting critical systems, and enhancing the overall service reliability for the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Audit and optimize the current infrastructure.
• Manage a fleet of servers across multiple data centers (100+ units).
• Perform regular security updates on Linux servers (mainly Ubuntu).
• Develop and maintain a Disaster Recovery Plan.
• Set up and manage server monitoring: health checks, failed login attempts, critical alerts.
• Manage FreeIPA installation and configuration.
• Optimize web servers (Apache, Nginx).
• Train team members and create relevant documentation.
• Configure server high availability (HA) and backup solutions.
• Ensure backup integrity and functionality through regular checks.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Programming: Experience with Python, Java, Groovy, Go, etc.
• Provisioning Tools: Hands-on experience with Ansible, Chef, or similar tools.
• Kubernetes and Containerization: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (2+ years), managing multi-node, high-availability clusters.
• CI/CD: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, etc.
• IAC: Experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Pulumi.
• Monitoring: Familiarity with monitoring platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, Datadog).
• Security: Experience with container security tools (Twistlock, Sysdig).
• Linux: In-depth knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian), server administration, monitoring, and performance optimization.

Additional Skills:

• Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse).
• Experience with Vault, Azure Vault, Keycloak for authentication and key management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to automation.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.
